www.kinesisinc.com) won the Gold Award in the 2005 MarCom Creative Awards. The accolade was awarded in the corporate category for the rebranding of Mtilda, a national company that creates software specific to the transplant laboratory industry. Kinesis is a marketing and graphic design firm that is a leader in providing compelling and effective branding solutions.
"We loved creating this logo because of our client's willingness to be playful," said Wendy Maynard, Kinesis Principal. "Instead of a high-tech mark, Mtilda team wanted a logo that symbolized their personal approach and their tagline
Mtilda eats paperwork. We created a goat with an attitude standing on an abstract tilda mark. It was illustrated by Kathleen Sanchez, designed by Sabrah Maple, and art directed by Shawn Busse definitely a Kinesis team effort."
The MarCom Creative Awards is an international competition for marketing and communication professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of marketing and communication programs and print, visual and audio materials. Entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, pr firms, graphic design shops and freelancers. The competition has grown to perhaps the largest of its kind in the world. A look at the winners shows a range in size from individual communicators to media conglomerates and Fortune 50 companies.
