A New Direction, a New Image
Accounting undergoes complete makeover.
With a 75-year history of accounting in the Portland area, Delap looked to Kinesis to revitalize their outdated brand. With 9 partners, the firm trusted Kinesis’ track record of working with multiple decision-makers. Kinesis facilitated an extensive rebranding process that included a new name, logo, collateral, and website. Specifically, Kinesis helped Delap:
- Develop a professional website presence that spoke to diverse audiences from manufacturers to non-profits. The site effectively balances the need of recruiting young employees with communicating to veteran business owners.
- Redefine the firm name from “Delap, White, Caldwell and Croy” to “Delap.” This name change references the firm’s founder, Virgil Delap, and capitalizes on existing brand equity.
- Create a new firm brand image that leveraged imagery of the region, speaking to the firm’s local heritage and approachability. Delap positions itself as “big enough to handle complex work, but small enough to provide hands-on service.”
