Who are your primary competitors? (include URLs if possible)
How would you like to have people perceive your business? Be specific and avoid generalizations. Examples might include words like “fast,” “high tech,” “caring,” or even unlikely terms like “nostalgic.”
Are there any particular colors that represent your industry? Are there any colors that you personally like?
Are there colors used by your competitors? Are there any particular colors that you would prefer we avoid when developing your identity?
Are there any particular icons or imagery that we should avoid (either for reasons of personal preference, competitor usage, or industry clichés)?
When selling your product/service, what primary strategies do you use (ex: advertising, website, direct mail, cold calls, etc.)
What is the driving force behind your business? (ex: helping people, creativity, problem solving, wealth, etc)
Who is your ideal client/customer? (list as much detail as possible: age, location, financial demographic, male/female, etc) Why?
If you have an existing logo, what do you like and dislike about it? Why?
Do you have a tagline? Does it need to be included with your marketing materials?
What are some logos that you like or dislike and why? (Be sure to take a look at logos kinesis has designed, other logos in your industry, as well as others from other industries. Include URL if possible).
How will you use your new logo? Where? What media? (ex: signage, website, letterhead, billboards, vehicle graphics, etc)
