Shawn Busse, Founding Partner

With over 12 years as a designer and art director, Shawn is your concept guy. He has an incredible knack for finding opportunities in your business and turning them into new streams of revenue. No one does a better job with launching brands, making a splash, and monetizing marketing efforts. Shawn is definitely a guy to have on your team.

Shawn grew up in Roseburg, Oregon with the cows. Ever ambitious, he illustrated his first book at age 5, called “I’m Special.” After determining that cows make horrible art critics, he moved to Ashland, Oregon where he received his BA in Fine Arts from Southern Oregon University, and then attended Ohio State University for his MFA. His large-scale, site-specific installations have been featured in museums and galleries across the country.

Now living in the “big city,” you can catch Shawn art directing in our offices, or occasionally covered in drywall dust from his endless house remodel projects. Over the years, Shawn has led campaigns for a diverse roster of top tier clients. His hard work and passion for design has earned him national recognition in award competitions and publications.

An avid volleyball player and NPR fanatic, Shawn lives in NE Portland with his two loves – his little dog, Cooper, and his sexy iPhone, Stella.
